Massage Therapy Benefits
We are assaulted on a daily basis by stressful influences that we cannot control. These include work, family, relationships, health, finances and environment. Negative effects of stress include high blood sugar levels, weakened immunity and digestion, disrupted sleep, weight gain, impaired memory and concentration, anxiety, depression, insomnia, high blood pressure and heart disease. A recent report by Harvard and Stanford researchers determined that work place stress is as harmful as second hand smoke! Ultimately, chronic stress can shorten your life span.
A simple and effective method of reducing cortisol levels is massage therapy. The benefits of physical touch through massage have been medically demonstrated to help relieve many mental and physical complaints. Massage therapy can help reduce stress, tension, anxiety and pain. We offer myriad massage techniques and we can provide consultation to help you decide which ones will work for you in managing your stress and pain while promoting your well-being. All massage sessions are customized to your specific aroma and physical needs. Please inform us if you are pregnant or have any medical issues that need to be considered prior to a massage.

Rotator Cuff Release Massage (RCR)
Approximately 90% of the population has incorrect posture. This is a result of the multiple muscles involved in shoulder and arm movement becoming tightened, or there is unaddressed injury, inadequate blood supply, weakness or pinched tendons (impingement). Hot Stone Massage
A deeply detoxifying and profoundly relaxing massage. By combining massage with hot stones, the circulatory system is both stimulated and relaxed. This circulatory activity promotes the release of toxins from the muscles, assisting the body in self-healing. The combined effect prompts a state of enhanced relaxation that washes away stress and sets the stage for re-energizing and rejuvenating the body, mind and spirit.
